So, back to the point. We took our school bus early in the morning at around 8am and departed with our almost empty stomach. We would be going to 4 main locations, that are The University City, the Military School of Huang Pu, the Coca-Cola factory, and the ice-cream factory. All of them are in GuangZhou so we won't be going anyway further. At first, I thought that we would go places further from GuangZhou. Guess I'm wrong.
There nothing much interesting at the University City. You can lots of universities built and sponsored by the government as part of the "211 Project" of China. They are quite huge and they got their own stadium too. The only place that we went was the some sort of Cultural Village place, but they don't actually look like the one in Kuching, Sarawak because the buildings there are quite modern and empty...It was actually built for exhibition purpose but it was empty when we went there. I took just a few photos there as there is not much to remember but some unique designs, especially the man-made fountain.

Standing on the red carpet. Quite empty, huh...Next stop, the Military School of Huang Pu. Actually, you can't see soldiers or trainees pumping or running here and there with any ammunitions because it was built for soldier training purpose during the Resolution Era in China. It is still a military school here but we can't enter the actual place as it's confidential. We went to their display house and it was quite an honor to see the comrades' living places and how our ancestors in China fought with their soul and might for our freedom and rights. But to be honest, it was also a bit boring because we can't do this and that here...we are even restricted from taking photos. Lucky i can take some.

The ice cream factory is the only place where everyone is excited to go. We never saw how ice cream is made in real. When we reached there, we were given an ice cream each and watched a short video clip about that ice cream brand's history. We were watching while eating ice cream but our main purpose is to see how ice cream is made. We went into a pathway leading to the production area, but we were disappointed because we were actually watching it in the same way we did when we were at the Coca- Cola factory. Disappointed again. And we didn't take any photos there.
We went back to school in the afternoon at around 3pm and we'd skipped the PE class, Woohoo!!
So, i guess the whole trip bored both of us quite a bit as it was out of our expectation. Hope that someday we can go out there by our own and explore more than we did.
